There is no universal credit rating system, but rather, a system specific to each individual credit rating agency. The rating is based on a company’s overall credit history and is calculated using a complex algorithm, which takes into account a huge number of variables. Continue reading

How can I remove Company and Director Information from Google (and other search engines)?
You can sometimes find company and director information directly from a search engine (such as Google). If your own company or director information can be found this way, and you’d rather it wasn’t displayed, we may be able to help.
If you would like company information removed, please send us:
• Your company name
• Your company number
• Your company page URL (Search for your company name from our homepage > View Details > Copy the URL)
If you would like director information removed, please send us:
• The director’s name
• The director page URL (Search for your director’s name from our homepage > View Details > Copy the URL)
Once we have this we’ll look into having the information removed.
For more information please see our dedicated page:

How to save a company report to your computer
Our company reports have an expiry date for a reason. Reports are correct up to the point that they’re purchased. Any changes that occur to the company after the purchase will not be reflected in the report. Therefore, to prevent you from viewing reports that contain wholly outdated information, we remove them from your account after one year.
That’s not to say that you can’t save the reports to your computer where we can’t get our grubby little mitts on them.
Here’s how to download a company report (once signed in to Company Searches Made Simple):
After this, you simply select where you want the report to be saved.

I’ve lost my company’s certificate of incorporation
All you need to do is search for your company from our homepage, click on your company name and then wait for the list of documents to load. Then simply pop the “New Incorporation documents” into your basket and complete the purchase.
Once bought, all documents are stored in the “My Documents” area of your account.
